Nathan M. Johnson

Nathan M. Johnson represents business clients in commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Representative industries include energy, finance, commercial real estate, technology, manufacturing and agriculture. Calling upon his expertise in fraud and fraudulent transfers, he recently obtained a large settlement on behalf of Hunt Oil against a host of foreign defendants. Typical litigation matters include a range of breach of contract and business tort claims. In the bankruptcy arena, he represents small- to medium-sized business debtors, and creditors of all sizes in large and complex bankruptcy cases. Outside the litigation context, he has been particularly successful at facilitating non-litigation resolutions to business disputes.

Nathan strives to anticipate the end result long before it comes to pass, enabling clients to devise their litigation strategies – and make business decisions – with the benefit of foresight.

Nathan received a B.S. in Physics, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 1990. After obtaining a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1993, he practiced in the bankruptcy and commercial litigation sections of the Dallas office of Sheinfeld, Maley & Kay. At Spector & Johnson, he enjoys the ability to work directly with each client to develop strategies – whether litigation, bankruptcy, or other business solutions - that entail both zealous advocacy and careful consideration of the client's particular needs, circumstances and objectives.
